Palisades Montessori

Palisades Montessori has been providing authentic Montessori education to children aged three months to six years in the Palisades community of Washington, DC since 1984. The school offers a Primary Program for preschoolers aged three to five years, located at 2828 Hurst Terrace NW, and Infant and Toddler Centers for infants and toddlers aged three months to three years, located at 5104 Macarthur Blvd. NW and 5110 Macarthur Blvd. NW. The Montessori model fosters each child’s individual needs and interests, and educators serve as guides to support their exploration in a developmentally-appropriate environment. The school values mixed age groups, developmentally-appropriate experiences, and a culture of freedom and responsibility to cultivate peer learning, social and academic skills, emotional intelligence, and independence.
