Annie Shah is the owner and teacher at Annie & Friends! Preschool in Reno, NV. She has a Master’s degree in Early Childhood Education and specializes in curriculum and instruction. Annie has extensive experience working with children aged 3-5 years and has developed her own curriculum based on the highscope approach. Her goal is to improve children’s social, emotional, cognitive, physical, and language development to ensure school readiness. Annie’s home-based preschool is located in a spacious and secure half-acre property, providing a natural and family-oriented setting for children to thrive. She maintains a small teacher-to-student ratio of 1:5 to give individual attention and tailor activities to each child’s strengths and interests. Annie is dedicated to providing a hands-on and holistic learning experience for preschoolers to prepare them for kindergarten readiness.
